Trish's 10 favorite outfits
It all started with the trademark cowboy hat and long jacket with Trish's debut in 2000. She rocked many memorable outfits during her tenure with WWE. From the assortment of valet boots, her sparkling pants, two-pieces, one-pieces, right down to her converse boots – it'd be hard for even a Stratuspherian to pick their favorite outfit! So, we asked the 7-time champ herself! Check out Trish's top ten favorite ring attire.
Trish: I remember being so excited to be in my first WrestleMania and I knew there was a chance I'd be getting physical so this was the first time I took my traditional boots and trench coat and paired it with shorts instead of my usual skirt. The cross over tie on the top was my trademark look from my fitness days, so I brought that into my wrestling attire with this outfit.
Trish: When I debuted I wanted to make sure my outfit was a distinguishable "look". I always used to say "if I wanted to dress up like Undertaker at Halloween, I would know exactly what to wear". I wanted my character to have the same sense of an identifiable style. The day I got word I was debuting, I was in Long Island, and they sent me out to the mall to find clothes. Luckily I had my boots with me (I had a huge boot collection), and I came across the long coats. The cowboy hats came along really just because they were 'in' at the time, so they were all over the mall, so I grabbed a couple hats to match my outfits and voila – the classic Trish Stratus look was born!
Trish: I designed this outfit as a shout out to my Canadian heritage... did I do it for the cheap pop – maybe! I worked closely with a dressmaker to come up with the perfect Canadian outfit!
Trish: There are no words to describe this outfit... it was what any good Maid of Honor would wear... if they were an evil best friend that is!
Trish: This outfit was derived from the WrestleMania 21 theme – it was Hollywood and I guess you could say I was feeling a little "gangsta".
Trish: When I returned after my back injury I started working with a close friend of mine Madi of Madi Stylez after we had worked together on the DIVAS lingerie shoot together. We wanted to create a new style for my return. If you look at these outfits we had some trademark pieces like a lot of armbands and gloves and that's when I started sporting my Chuck Taylor all-star boots thanks to a stratusfying sponsorship from Converse!
Trish: The divas always had fun integrating the camo theme into our outfits for these shows. Whenever we had a special themed match, like this or our Santa's Helpers match, I always thought it was neat to see how each one of us would all match but still manage to keep to our own unique styles. Here you see I kept with some of my trademark styles, like the cross over tie top, the cropped pants with the open ties down the side of the leg and my Chucks!
Trish: This is a special outfit for me not only because it was the one I wore when Lita and I wrestled in the main event of Raw, but it was also immortalized on one of my action figures.
Trish: This outfit I had made for the Backlash pay-per-view Mickie and I were wrestling for knowing it was a big match for us. We had months of storyline going into this match, especially as this was our next match-up after our rather epic face-off at WrestleMania. We actually had been given almost 20 minutes for this one – and I have to tell you, we had a doozy planned. However, this was also the match where I dislocated my shoulder and alas, our match was cut short. We were bummed because his match and this outfit for that matter, deserved more time!
Trish: The outfit, while not anything particularly special – just kind of my go to trademark items, but it was the last time I wrestled with Victoria before I retired. It was more the match that made the outfit special.
