Team Liquid partner Trish Stratus creates new beverage - Namaste
Trish gets right down to business as Liquid Nutrition's newest team member and delivers a stratusfying recipe to be featured in Liquid Nutrition stores across Canada. Introducing one of her favorite sources of hydration, this is the first functional beverage on their menu to feature coconut water. This past week marked the launch of ‘Namaste' and it was one of a few big stars that were featured at last Saturday's grand opening event at Liquid Nutrition's newest store in Oakville.

Opening one of it's largest stores to date, Liquid Nutrition Oakville was a full house despite the rainy weather. Trish Stratus joined fellow Team Liquid partner Arlene Dickinson of Dragon's Den and Oakville's Mayor Rob Burton to help celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony alongside company President Glenn Young.
The launch of the ‘Namaste' beverage is the first of many contributions Stratus will be making on behalf of the company. There are many more developments in store for 2013.
Trish's goal was to create a beverage that could act as a meal replacement and include essential vitamins and minerals and remain under 400 calories. Namaste accomplishes this coming in at 380 calories and contains almond milk, kale, honey, peanut butter, green tea extract, apple, and coconut water. Trish often touts the benefits of O.N.E. Coconut Water – with Namaste, Liquid Nutrition customers will now get their hydration stratusfied.
What are the benefits of Coconut Water?
Interesting fact: Coconut water is identical to human blood plasma, which makes up 55% of human blood. It is used in some parts of the world as a universal donor for instant blood transfusions.
